Do you prices include VAT?

All our prices quoted on the web include VAT at the prevailing rate.

What Types of Payment do we accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Switch and JCB credit cards. If you wish to pay by cheque or postal order, please feel free to call through and make your order over the phone.

Typically, how long will it take for my order to arrive?

We will do all we can to dispatch your items with 3 working days of ordering on a 24 hour service.  If we are not able to meet this, we will contact you via email with an estimated delivery date (the exception is during the period of the Boat Show or annual shutdown as seen below).

Can we arrange for a timed or weekend delivery?

Normal deliveries times are between 8am and 6pm.  If you would like a ‘timed’ or Saturday delivery, please feel free to give us a call.  We will provide you a quote and make the necessary arrangements.

Can we combine orders to save on postage if we choose to add items after our first order has been submitted?

Provided the items have not been dispatched, feel free to call through to our office during normal working hours and we will be happy to combine or add to your orders.

What can effect the delivery time we quote?

During the Southampton and London Boat Shows, the majority of our staff is at the events.  Regrettably, orders placed during these times may not be acknowledged or processed for up to 10 days.  Also, we take a 1 week annual shutdown which will be posted on the web site.  We apologise for this, and appreciate your understanding.

Do I need to be there to sign for my goods when they are delivered?

Yes.  It is necessary for someone to sign for the goods to ensure they have not been damaged in transit.  We will be more than happy to ship them to an alternative UK address, such as your place of work if you would like us to.

Are the sizes you have quoted accurate?

Although we try to give accurate sizes, they must be assumed to be approximate.  Slight changes to the styles and dimensions can occur which is dependent on the batch of material they are being made from.  If you need to know the exact dimensions, please feel free to call us and I will be happy to take any measurement you require.

Can you ship internationally?

Although this is not possible from our web site, please feel free to give us a call and we will be happy to let you know if it is possible and provide a quote accordingly.

Do you have a returns policy?

Please see our returns policy in our standard Terms and Conditions.  When returning items, please ensure that they are adequately insured against damage in transit.  Unfortunately, machined timber or Timber treatment products can not be returned unless found to be faulty.

Are your Teak products coated in any finish?

Unless we explicitly state otherwise, our Teak Accessories are supplied without any coating.  Due to the vast array of finishes available, and personal preferences, we allow you to make that choice when the items arrive.  If however you would like some recommendations, please contact us and we will try to help.

What do you recommend for cleaning teak?

We have always maintained our stance on traditional cleaning methods, such as light cleaning with mild detergents and light sanding.  It is always better to stay ahead of your teak care with a product such as Teak Oils and Wax, rather than performing major cleaning routines each season.

Although there are a number of chemical cleaning products on the market, I strongly recommend following the instructions that go with them implicitly.  Many of these cleaning products contain harsh chemicals that have the potential to damage the teak and caulking, so should be used very carefully.  We also strongly recommend against jet washing or harsh scrubbing on your teak.
